Quality Assurance Unit
Standard services provided by our Quality Assurance Unit (QAU) include: performing protocol, data and report audits, reviewing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), providing training in Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), hosting client and regulatory inspections, and performing computer system and audits of critical vendors as part of our pioneering supplier qualification program. Our philosophy is to integrate quality within our operation so in addition to providing GLP training, the QAU is visibly active throughout the laboratory and performs at least one laboratory phase audit of every GLP study. The QAU staff have also performed audits of large validation studies and is available to perform quality control/quality assurance audits of assay validation submissions to agencies such as ICCVAM and ECVAM.
The QAU has hosted numerous sponsor and regulatory audits for compliance with the GLP guidelines and principles of agencies such as the US FDA, US EPA, OECD, and the Japanese MHLW. This experience has strengthened our culture of quality and helped us to stay at the forefront of the application of GLP Principles to in vitro studies.
All our QAU staff are RQAP-GLP certified and members of SQA.
